Senior Vetting Superintendent

Our client is looking to recruit a Senior Vetting Superintendent to be based at its Head Office in Limassol. The role involves worldwide travel to tankers for pre-assessment visits and preparation for SIRE inspections, as well as attendance at inspections where required. Where appropriate, these visits will be combined with marine visits and internal audit requirements. The position also includes day-to-day office responsibilities, close cooperation with internal departments, and active involvement in maintaining and improving vetting performance across the fleet.
 

The requirements for this role are:

• At least 3 years of previous experience in a similar role or as a Marine Superintendent
   
• At least 2 years of previous seagoing experience in a senior position on tankers
   
• Extensive experience with OCIMF SIRE and RightShip inspections with proven results
   
• Auditing qualification will be considered an advantage
   
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
   
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills
   
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
