We’re looking for a Sole Chef to join a well-established private yacht with an excellent reputation for crew longevity and a genuinely happy atmosphere on board.
The owners really enjoy eating on board, but their preference is for simple, fresh and well-executed food. They’re not looking for someone to reinvent the wheel - just a confident, consistent Chef who understands their preferences and is happy producing great food without overcomplicating things.
The yacht operates with relatively short guest trips, typically around one week with guests followed by a quieter week, giving the Chef a much more manageable programme than many sole-chef positions.
The Captain is hugely focused on the philosophy of happy boat, happy crew, happy owners, which is reflected in the incredible longevity across the team. While the initial package isn’t the biggest on the market, the Captain is pushing heavily towards introducing rotation, which would make this a fantastic long-term opportunity for the right person.
