Consortio have partnered with a globally known ship and yacht building company based in the Netherlands. This company specializes in custom building the most exclusive super yachts in the world. They are responsible for the design, engineering, the research and development of their products. Due to their global success they are looking for a Structural Engineer to join their team.
As a Structural Engineer you will be drawing up, checking and applying physical models. You will be analysing and interpreting drawings and also assisting with strength calculations that are not conducted by the FEM department. Aswell as checking for technical accuracy and safety.
To be eligible for this role you need to have:
- Experience as a structural engineer with new construction projects of super yachts or passenger vessels.
- Experience with 3D CAD and PLM systems.
- Excellent command of the English Language.
- Knowledge of ship construction; LR, REG LY code, SOLAS, FEM and vibration analysis.
