Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a Technical Superintendent to oversee the technical performance and compliance of one or more vessels. In this pivotal role, you will ensure vessels remain fit for purpose by managing repair and maintenance (R&M) activities, overseeing budgets, and ensuring adherence to flag state, class, and IMO regulations.
You’ll act as Project Manager for maintenance and modification projects, collaborate closely with onboard crews, and play a key role in budget preparation, technical reporting, and continuous process improvement. The role also includes use of internal dashboards and systems to support data-driven decision-making.
Key Requirements:
- BSc/MSc in Maritime, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years’ technical experience in the maritime industry.
- Strong knowledge of class, flag, and IMO regulations.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
