My client is seeking a experienced maritime professional to manage offshore vessels based in Hamburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in maritime engineering and proven onshore experience. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled professional to take on a critical leadership role in a dynamic environment.
 

Key Responsibilities:

This role is for a Technical Superintendent to join their Offshore team. You will be responsible for the day-day technical management and coordination of a handful of Offshore vessels. You will be integrated into a team of hard working and driven individuals and be expected to ensure the smooth running of your vessels and make sure your crew are running to the highest level of efficiency possible. Reporting directly to the fleet manager, it is your responsibility to develop and manage your crew to meet all deadlines and targets set by the management team above. You will manage vessel budgets and operating expenditure as well as dealing with the planning and implementation of dry dockings as required.
 

Requirements:

 

- Chief Engineer or 2nd Enigneer experience sailing 

- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar offshore vessel role. (Tecnical Superintendent for example) 

- Demonstrable onshore experience.

- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Fluent in English; German language skills are advantageous.
