Our client is a well-established and internationally recognised ship management company, known for their high standards and dependable service across a modern fleet of dry cargo vessels. With a strong operational base in Asia and an expanding global footprint, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Technical Superintendent to join their professional team in Singapore.
In this role, you will oversee the technical performance of a designated group of dry cargo ships. Your responsibilities will include ensuring vessels are maintained to the highest standards, managing planned and unplanned maintenance, coordinating dry-dockings, and ensuring full compliance with regulatory and company requirements. This position calls for a proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong technical expertise in the dry cargo sector.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Technical Superintendent overseeing dry cargo vessels.
- Previous seagoing experience as a Chief Engineer on dry cargo ships.
- A solid understanding of Flag, Class, and international regulatory frameworks.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- The ability to make sound technical decisions and work collaboratively with both onboard and onshore teams.
