With a diverse fleet and a culture built on integrity, teamwork, and professional development, this organisation offers an exceptional platform for maritime professionals seeking to advance their technical and management careers. Working with a team that values expertise and proactive leadership, you will be part of an environment that drives both personal and professional growth while maintaining the highest standards of vessel performance and compliance.

In this pivotal role as Assistant Technical Superintendent, you will play a key part in supporting the technical and operational management of assigned vessels. The position is crucial in ensuring the fleet remains safe, compliant, and efficiently operated in line with international standards. Working closely under the supervision of the Technical Fleet Manager, you will assist in implementing and maintaining the company’s management systems, support repair and dry-docking activities, and contribute to the continuous improvement of fleet performance. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious marine professional eager to gain valuable shore-based experience and contribute to the success of one of the industry’s leading shipmanagement teams.

Key Requirements:

  • A marine degree from a recognised university, marine academy, or college — or equivalent experience within the shipping industry.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, and self-motivation, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent command of the English language, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally across all levels.
  • Solid understanding of the marine industry, including knowledge of applicable international Rules, Regulations, and vessel management standards.
  • Technical proficiency in vessel operations, with a sound understanding of purchasing procedures, budget control, and cost management.

This role is ideally suited to a technically minded and career-driven individual who is passionate about maritime operations and eager to take on the challenge of supporting a world-class fleet. Joining this esteemed Shipmanagement company through Consortio offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills, gain exposure to global operations, and progress within a respected and forward-thinking organisation.
