As part of their continued growth strategy, our client is seeking an experienced Trader for their new trading team in Athens, with a primary focus on the European bunker markets. Key Responsibilities

• Establish and gain market share in Greece, focusing on back-to-back trades in the European shipping markets.
• Bring an established and transferable book of end-user clients to the organization, while actively pursuing new bunker enquiries in these markets.
• Monitor bunker market trends, pricing fluctuations, and developments, providing strategic insights for market penetration and growth.
• Assess and mitigate risks associated with bunker trading activities, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards specific to the region.

Key Qualifications & Experience

• 2+ years of back-to-back bunker trading experience
• Team player and ability to motivate and work within a diverse team.
• A transferable book of business within the European shipping markets.
• A strong network of connections in the bunker fuels industry, covering suppliers and customers.
• This position is based in Athens, Greece.
