Job Description: As a Bunker Trader, you will play a pivotal role in our trading operations, responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and executing bunker fuel transactions to meet the needs of our diverse clientele. You will leverage your expertise in the maritime fuel market to optimize trading strategies, manage risk effectively, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and negotiate bunker fuel transactions with suppliers and clients.Develop and maintain strong relationships with ship owners, charterers, and operators.Monitor market trends and analyze data to make informed trading decisions.Ensure compliance with international regulations and company policies.Manage risk and optimize trading strategies to maximize profitability.Provide excellent customer service and support to clients.Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely delivery of products.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in bunker trading or a related field.Strong understanding of international bunker fuel markets and trading dynamics.Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build lasting relationships with suppliers and clients.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and trends.Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.Effective communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Proficiency in Arabic language (written and spoken) is an advantage.Being based in Dubai is preferred.
