Technical Superintendent

Our client is a well-established international shipping company with a strong reputation in the Roll-on/Roll-off (RORO) sector. With a modern fleet operating across global trade routes, they are known for maintaining high technical standards, prioritising safety, and investing in the long-term development of their people. Due to continued fleet operations and growth, they are now seeking to appoint a Technical Superintendent to join their team in Dubai.
 

The Technical Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the technical performance and maintenance of assigned RORO vessels, ensuring vessels operate safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with international regulations and company standards. The role will involve managing planned maintenance systems, supervising repairs and dry docks, monitoring vessel budgets and technical performance, and providing technical support to vessel crews while liaising closely with ship management, suppliers, and class authorities.
 

The requirements for this role are
 

• Experience as a Technical Superintendent looking after RORO vessels
   
• Experience sailing as a Chief Engineer
   
• Experience sailing as a senior engineer onboard RORO vessels
   
• Fluency in English
