Chartering Broker

Our client are a dry bulk brokerage firm established in Athens, Greece and specialises in dry bulk commodities. They exclusively handle a fleet of 10 vessels, as well as enjoying a close relations with many ship owners across the world. Furthermore, they handle all of their clients needs and provide competitive ship-brokering at the highest level of quality. Due to their success, they are now looking to expand their current team and are seeking to employ like minded individuals.

The role is for a chartering broker to join their Athens based team. You will need to have the ability to find suitable employment and cargo for their vessels. In addition to this, you will be expected to read chartering offers and solely carry out negotiations from beginning to end for both voyage and time charters.

In order to be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:

• 3 years’ experience as a broker within the dry market (Excluding trainee period)
   
• Well versed in Gencon and Synacomex programmes
   
• Fluent in both English and Greek
