Our client is a leading shipping industry partner offering global shipping agency services and hub solutions to an array of clients and ports all over the world. Acting as the one stop solution for charterers, ship managers and ship owners/operators they have an immense global presence. The challenges that the shipping industry and ports around the globe have faced over the past 3 years has caused a lot of damage and resulted in a number of ship agencies closing down. However, despite these challenges, our client is constantly reaching new heights and is now looking to expand into different corners of the world.


The role is for a Country Manager who will pro-actively manage the country Profit and Loss (P&L) and be expected to maintain and expand the business (existing and new). You must develop not only the business within the country, but also the global network. In addition to this you will need to have proven senior management experience in a highly dynamic setting and be able to do all of the above while overseeing the day-to-day activities of the business.


In order to be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • 7+ years in senior leadership roles within the shipping industry.
     
  • 5+ years’ experience with proven P&L success.
     
  • Possess excellent problem-solving skills.
     
  • Have strong communication skills and be fluent in English.
