The successful candidate will take responsibility for the end-to-end payroll administration of approximately 10-15 vessels, ensuring that all seafarer wages and related payments are processed accurately and in accordance with company policies, employment contracts and industry regulations. Working closely with both the Crewing and Finance departments, the role will involve payroll calculations, payroll controls, disbursement account reviews, invoice approvals and supporting vessels with payroll-related queries. This position would suit someone who enjoys structured processes, has strong numerical skills and is comfortable managing recurring payroll cycles in a fast-paced maritime environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with crew payroll within the maritime industry
  • Experience calculating and processing seafarers' wages, overtime, leave pay, allotments, advances and final settlements
  • Knowledge of crew payroll systems such as Danaos, Adonis, Crew Manager or similar platforms
  • Experience reviewing payroll against employment contracts, CBAs and company procedures
  • Understanding of Manning Agent Disbursement Accounts (MGA/DA) and payroll reconciliations
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently whilst collaborating with multiple departments
  • Experience within ship management or a maritime organisation is preferred

This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and internationally recognised organisation where you will play an important role in supporting global crewing operations. If you possess the required maritime payroll experience and are looking for your next challenge, please apply with your CV for consideration.
