A well-established shipping company based in Germany is seeking an experienced Crew Operator to join their office in Germany. The company manages a global fleet and is known for its structured approach to crew operations and commitment to high professional standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing crew changes across the fleet, coordinating travel and accommodation and ensuring that all crew certifications and medical records are current. The role also involves supporting recruitment efforts, maintaining accurate employment records and ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations and company policies. You will work closely with ship staff, international partners and internal teams to ensure smooth crew rotations and operational continuity.

 

To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:

  • Previous experience in crew coordination
  • personnel management, or a similar administrative role
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • Flexibility to respond to operational requests outside of standard office hours when required
  • Strong communication skills in English for international liaison; proficiency in German for internal collaboration.
  • Comfortable with administrative tasks, data management, and cross-department teamwork.
