Dry Cargo Charterer

Consortio have partnered with a leading provider of maritime logistics and freight services. They transport metals, agricultural products, construction materials and speaclist cargoes across six continents. As a result of this speacilist operation they complete over 1000 voyages across 24 core trade routes serving over 300 customers. The company operate as a ship owner and operator and have a fleet that is comprised of 63 vessels ranging from handy sized to supramax. This role is for a charterer to join a rapidly growing team and you will be responsible for the chartering of Bulk Carriers and General Cargo vessels, sized between 20,000 – 80,000 DWT. To be successful in this role, you will need to be experienced with both time and spot charters and are well versed in negotiation. Furthermore, you will be responsible for chartering vessels across 6 different trade routes with a particular focus on trading in the Middle East.
 

To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:

• 2 + years’ experience in Dry Cargo Chartering – with vessels ranging in size from handy to supramax.
  
  Have experience operating in the Middle Eastern and European trade routes.
   
• Have full proficiency in the English language – both verbal and written.
