They are seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform onboard repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex control systems. Working closely with industrial clients and technical teams, this role requires the ability to operate independently under time pressure and limited resources while ensuring first-class customer service. The position involves frequent travel and direct interaction with vessel operators and offshore stakeholders.
The requirements for this role are:
- Degree or formal technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Maritime Technology, Mechatronics, Marine Engineering, or a closely related discipline
- Several years of experience in a comparable service or field-engineering position.
- Strong background in instrumentation, diagnostics, and mechanical fault-finding.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to challenging environments.
- Customer-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
