HSEQ Manager

Consortio have partnered with an exciting start up company who are looking to expand their operations in Dubai. They are both a ship owner and operator and have a total fleet of seven MR and LR Tankers and have more vessels that will be coming into the organisation. Furthermore, they are comprised of forward-thinking individuals who are looking to build their company into the next big player within the shipping industry. In addition to this they have a core set of values that they will place at the forefront of their upcoming business venture.
 

As a result of recent expansion, our client is on the lookout for a HSQE Manager, and you will be expected to treat health, safety, security, and environment as a top priority. Furthermore, you will also need top monitor compliance with all agreed external management system standard including but not limited to, ISM Code, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001. In addition to this you will be responsible for leading the communication of key HSEQ trends and policies to all vessels and work closely with all relevant departments to ensure total HSEQ compliance.
 

To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
 

• 5 years’ experience in an office based HSEQ position.
   
• Sailing experience on Tankers and Gas Carriers.
   
• Have practical experience using ISM and ISO 9001 and 14001 systems.
   
• Be fluent in English – both written and verbal.
