Consortio have partnered with an exciting start up company who are looking to expand their operations in Dubai. They are both a ship owner and operator and have a total fleet of seven MR and LR Tankers and have more vessels that will be coming into the organisation. Furthermore, they are comprised of forward-thinking individuals who are looking to build their company into the next big player within the shipping industry. In addition to this they have a core set of values that they will place at the forefront of their upcoming business venture.
 

Due to the need to develop their core team in Dubai, they are on the lookout for a Marine Superintendent to oversee the marine operations across their fleet. Furthermore, you will be expected to monitor updates and propose improvements in safety, security, and commercial operations to ensure 100% effectiveness and efficiency of all the vessels within the fleet. In addition to this you will be responsible for monitoring navigational operation as well as voyage performance to ensure the company complies with international rules and regulations.
 

To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
 

  • 5 years’ experience as a Marine Superintendent.
     
  • Have a Masters license with sailing experience on crude oil / chemical tankers.
     
  • Have strong organisational, communication and teamwork skills.
     
  • Be fluent in English – both verbal and written.
