Join one of the world's largest ferry operators connecting Denmark, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Latvia, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Finland, and Sweden. We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Marine Superintendent for Ferries to play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance within maritime operations based in the Netherlands.

As a Marine Superintendent, you are a champion of safety, advising ship management on compliance with laws, regulations, and company standards. Your responsibilities include ensuring legislative compliance, implementing maritime safety policies, and providing strategic advice to ship management. You excel in planning, executing, and supervising inspections and audits, addressing incidents, and managing vessel tracking systems for effective monitoring and coordination. Your role is instrumental in upholding safety standards and fostering continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum sailing experience up to the rank of 2nd Officer, with a preference for Master Mariner qualification.
  • Experience with Passenger Ships.
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English.
  • Residence in the Netherlands, with the flexibility for occasional travel.
  • A passion for maritime safety.
