About the Role
A prominent Dutch yacht builder is seeking a Naval Architect to support the design and technical development of luxury vessels. You’ll contribute from the early concept phase through to final delivery, ensuring the vessels meet the highest standards of design, performance, and quality.

Working as part of an integrated project team, you will collaborate with engineers, project managers, and production teams to deliver accurate and performance-optimized designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop vessel designs using principles of naval architecture.
  • Collaborate on hull optimization, weight balance, and structural calculations.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating 3D models and drawings.
  • Participate in technical reviews and stakeholder meetings.
  • Provide ongoing design support during the build phase.

Candidate Profile:

  • HBO or WO degree in Naval Architecture or related field.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks (Rhino and AutoCAD are a plus).
  • Excellent English and Dutch communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, structured, and motivated.
  • Experience with composite construction in marine environments preferred.
