With a strong reputation for delivering technical inspections and certified services to international clients, our partner offers a dynamic environment where you will gain hands-on experience both in the Netherlands and worldwide.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to develop expertise in inspection services while working across a diverse portfolio of vessels and projects. The role involves carrying out ultrasonic wall thickness measurements, corrosion inspections, and other NDT techniques (UT/MT/PT/VT/ET), as well as performing visual inspections, hatch tightness testing, and dry dock assistance. You will assess vessel condition, prepare detailed inspection reports, support material inspections in line with international norms and quality standards, and manage the administrative processing of orders, all while maintaining close communication with clients. Global travel is required for short- to medium-term assignments on board vessels.
Requirements
- Completed technical education to at least MBO level, preferably in mechanical engineering, shipping, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to perform under time pressure and adapt to challenging environments.
- Flexible approach to working hours.
- Affinity with shipping and willingness to work on board vessels worldwide.
- NDT Level II certification is advantageous but not required.
- Leadership potential, with opportunities to progress into a managerial role.
Why Apply?
This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a career in a globally active inspection and technical services company. With full training, professional development, and the chance to work internationally, you’ll gain specialist skills while contributing to essential safety and quality standards in the maritime sector.
