Senior Dry Cargo Broker

The role is for a Senior Dry Cargo Broker, and you will be responsible for the management of chartering broker activities and act as the intermediary between charterers and ship owners trying to arrange the best possible deal for cargo rates. Furthermore, the right candidate will be able to solve the day-to-day issues and oversee the implementation of workflow improvements and provide on the job training and coaching to Trainee Brokers. Finally, you will be able to assess the viability of new business opportunities and maintain strong working relationships with existing clients and customers.
 

In order to be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
 

• Possess 3 + years’ experience in chartering businesses related to the Dry Cargo market.
   
• Have a degree or diploma in a maritime related discipline.
   
• Be a good communicator and fluent in English – both written and verbal.
   
• Be able to build rapport and build relationships with customers and clients.
