The role is for a Senior Technical Superintendent to join their team on the dry side of the business and be responsible for the day-to-day technical management of 3-5 Bulk Carriers. You will be responsible for the coordination and leading of an onshore team as well as a team of engineers to develop high quality and innovative solutions to customers and clients. You will be expected to liaise with different departments to ensure the smooth running of daily operational activities. As well as this you will be responsible for the financial management of all your vessels and ensure the budget is within the agreed variable and / or target.
In order to be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
- 4 + years’ experience as a Technical Superintendent or in a similar capacity role.
- Sailed on Bulk carriers for 3 years, with 6 months experience as a Chief Engineer.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in marine engineering.
- Fluent in English – both written and verbal.
