Our client is an international ship owner that provides a number of services for the maritime industry.  They are truly a global force that has a reputation for reliability, quality and efficiency with a Gas vessels in their ownership.  Due to expansion of the fleet they require a Tanker Operator to support the Operations team.

 

An exciting opportunity for a vessel operator to join their growing team has become available and successful candidates will be responsible for the entire commercial operation of 5-6 tanker vessels. This role will involve a mixture of commercial vessel operations and also post fixture operation. You will be operating under time and voyage charters in European waters. In addition to this you will be expected to coordinate the day-to-day operational activities, liaising with the Marine Superintendent and any external agents to ensure efficient commercial operation. Furthermore, you will be expected to liaise with charterers and management with respect to vetting inspections and port visits.

 

In order to be considered for this role, you must have the following:
 

  • 3+ years’ experience with tankers as a vessel / ship operator.
     
  • 3+ years with vessel operation across European waters.
     
  • Experienced in post fixture vessel operation.
     
  • Fluent in English. Have the right to work in the EU.
