Technical Coordinator

A well-established ship management company is looking to recruit a Technical Coordinator to join its technical team in Athens. Reporting into the technical department, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating technical activities across the fleet, supporting certification processes, monitoring compliance requirements, and liaising with vessels, service providers, Class Societies, and Flag Administrations. The role will involve maintaining technical records, coordinating surveys and servicing activities, supporting planned maintenance processes, and ensuring documentation remains up to date within company systems. This is a fully office-based position.

Requirements

• Minimum two years' experience within a technical coordination, technical administration, or similar maritime role

• Previous experience supporting technical departments, vessels, or superintendents

• Good understanding of vessel certification processes, surveys, and Class and Flag requirements

• Experience coordinating service providers, repairs, and technical support activities

• Familiarity with compliance-related processes and technical documentation

• Experience using maritime PMS and ERP systems

• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment

• Fluent Greek and English language skills, both written and spoken

• Existing right to live and work in Greece
