As part of their continued expansion, they are now looking to strengthen their team.
 

To aid their growth, they are seeking a Technical Officer to join their team in Athens, Greece. In this role, you will oversee purchasing and supply chain activities, ensuring the timely acquisition of materials and coordinating with suppliers to facilitate smooth technical operations. You will also be responsible for managing logistics, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring that all necessary products and services are delivered efficiently to the vessels.
 

To be considered for this position, you must have:
 

  • At least 5 years’ experience in purchasing or supply chain management within the shipping industry.
     
  • A strong understanding of procurement processes and supply chain operations within maritime contexts.
     
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with suppliers and handle negotiations effectively.
     
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail.
     
  • Proficiency in MS Office and supply chain management software.
     
  • Fluency in English
