Acting as the primary link between ship and shore, you will work closely with Masters, Chief Engineers, and internal stakeholders to oversee maintenance programmes, dry dockings, repairs, budgets, inspections, and vessel performance. This position is integral to maintaining fleet reliability, supporting crews, and delivering a first-class technical management service while driving operational excellence across the fleet.

Requirements:

  • Chief Engineer sailing experience on tanker vessels (minimum three years) and/or a degree in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture.
  • At least three years' experience as a Technical Superintendent within a ship management or vessel owning company.
  • Strong knowledge of planned maintenance, dry docking, technical budgeting, statutory compliance, and vessel performance management.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and support onboard teams while building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with fluent English and strong computer literacy.

If you have the experience and technical expertise to succeed in this role, we'd love to hear from you. Apply above today to take the next step in your maritime career.
