Consortio is proud to be partnering with a leading global ship management company to recruit an experienced Technical Superintendent (LNG). Managing a modern fleet of LNG vessels, our client has built an outstanding reputation for operational excellence, safety, and technical innovation across the maritime industry. As Technical Superintendent, you will be responsible for the technical management of a portfolio of LNG vessels, ensuring they operate safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with international regulations and company standards. Acting as the key technical link between ship and shore, you will work closely with Masters, Chief Engineers, and internal stakeholders to oversee planned maintenance, dry dockings, repairs, technical budgets, inspections, and vessel performance. Your expertise will play a vital role in supporting shipboard teams, maintaining fleet reliability, and delivering a high-quality technical management service while driving operational performance across the fleet.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or equivalent, or a valid Chief Engineer's Certificate.
  • Minimum of three years' sailing experience as a senior engineering officer on LNG vessels, together with at least three years' experience as a Technical Superintendent within a ship management or vessel owning company.
  • Strong technical knowledge of LNG vessel operations, planned maintenance systems, dry docking, technical budgeting, statutory compliance, and fleet performance management.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills with the ability to mentor shipboard personnel and build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with fluent English and strong computer literacy.
