A growing ship management organisation is seeking an experienced Technical Superintendent to join its technical team and support the management of a modern fleet of dry bulk vessels. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded professional to join an expanding business that continues to invest in both its fleet and its people, offering long-term career development within a collaborative and supportive environment.

 

Reporting to the Fleet Manager, the successful candidate will take responsibility for the technical management of a group of 6 dry bulk vessels, ensuring the highest standards of operational performance, maintenance, compliance, and budget control. The role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced technical professionals and be supported by dedicated technical staff within a well-established shore-based team. Candidates based in Greece are preferred, although remote working may be considered for individuals located within a suitable time zone.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Technical Superintendent.
  • Experience with dry bulk vessels is preferred.
  • Geared bulk carrier experience would be advantageous.
  • Sailing experience to at least Second Engineer level or experience as a Marine Engineer 
  • Strong technical knowledge of vessel operations, maintenance and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Professional, proactive and solutions-focused approach to work.
