Consortio is working in partnership with a globally respected ship management organisation operating within a well-established maritime group, recognised for its technical excellence in the gas carrier sector. With a modern and expanding fleet of LNG and LPG vessels under management, this organisation has built a strong reputation for operational integrity, safety, and long-term investment in its people. As part of continued growth within its gas division, they are now seeking to appoint an experienced Technical Superintendent to join their technical team in Piraeus, Attiki, Greece.

The Technical Superintendent will take responsibility for the safe, efficient, and compliant technical operation of up to four to five LNG and LPG vessels within a wider fleet of gas carriers. Working closely with vessel crews, class societies, and internal stakeholders, the role will provide hands-on technical oversight, troubleshooting support, and strategic input across maintenance, repairs, and regulatory compliance. The position sits within a collaborative technical department, offering exposure to senior management and the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement across fleet performance and operational standards.

To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum of three years’ sea service as Chief Engineer on LNG vessels
  • Engineering degree in Marine, Mechanical, or a related discipline
  • Proven technical knowledge of LNG and LPG vessel operations and systems
  • Strong understanding of international regulations, class requirements, and industry standards
  • Confident communicator with very good written and spoken English
  • Ability to manage multiple vessels while working effectively with crews and third parties

This role offers the opportunity to join a healthy, professional working environment within a technically strong gas ship management business, supported by an experienced team and a forward-looking leadership structure. The successful candidate will benefit from a competitive package, performance-related incentives, healthcare benefits, and long-term career development within a growing fleet. If this opportunity aligns with your experience and career ambitions, Consortio invites you to submit your CV for confidential consideration.
