We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual for the position of Marine Technical Superintendent. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing and managing the technical aspects of maritime operations. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of naval engineering, coupled with a strong background in the technical management of Tanker ships/Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCC). 

As a Technical Superintendent you will supervise and manage technical aspects of marine operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Oversee maintenance and repair activities, collaborating with onshore and offshore teams to optimize vessel performance. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure vessels are in compliance with safety, environmental, and operational requirements. Collaborate with relevant departments to implement and enhance maintenance management programs. Provide technical support and guidance to onboard and onshore personnel. Monitor and analyse vessel performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Prepare and manage budgets for vessel maintenance, repairs, and technical operations. Liaise with external vendors, shipyards, and classification societies as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Master's Degree in Naval Engineering or possess the Title of Chief Engineer.Minimum of 5 years of experience in the technical management of Tanker ships/VLCC.Proficient in the English language, both written and spoken.Strong knowledge of ERP systems, specifically Danaos.Demonstrated expertise in maintenance management programs.
