This role is for a Technical Superintendent to join their Chemical Tanker division. You will be responsible for the day-day technical management and coordination of 3-4 tanker vessels. You will be integrated into a team of hard working and driven individuals and be expected to ensure the smooth running of your vessels and make sure your crew are running to the highest level of efficiency possible. Reporting directly to the fleet manager, it is your responsibility to develop and manage your crew to meet all deadlines and targets set by the management team above. You will manage vessel budgets and operating expenditure as well as dealing with the planning and implementation of dry dockings as required.
To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
- Have at least 5 years’ experience as a Technical Superintendent working with Chemical Tankers.
- Have a Chief Engineers license with sailing experience on Chemical Tankers.
- Have experience with Drydocks and CAP surveys
- Be fluent in English – both written and verbal.
