Technical Superintendent

To support their ongoing expansion, they are looking for a skilled Technical Superintendent to join their team in Cyprus. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical operations and maintenance of the company’s geared bulk vessels. Your key duties will include ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, managing maintenance schedules, and ensuring the vessels are always maintained to the highest standards. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, overseeing repairs, and managing the procurement of required parts and services. Additionally, you will ensure all maintenance activities are properly documented and provide guidance and training to the crew to ensure the safe operation of the vessels.
 

To be considered for this position, you must have:
 

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Technical Superintendent or a similar role within the maritime industry.
   
• Sailed as a Chief Engineer on Dry Cargo Vessels. 
   
• Extensive experience in managing the technical operations and maintenance of geared bulk vessels or comparable ships.
   
• A strong understanding of maritime safety, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures.
   
• Excellent written and spoken English.
