Training Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the strategic planning, execution, and evaluation of training programs, ensuring they comply with industry standards and regulations. You will develop and maintain partnerships with external training providers while delivering tailored onboard training for cruise vessel clients. Additionally, you will address non-conformities, support crewing operations, and stay updated on changes in international and national maritime regulations.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Seagoing experience in a managerial role or a minimum of five years' experience in the maritime industry, along with a university degree.
• Expertise in managing and designing training programs for cruise and/or passenger vessels.
• Excellent proficiency in English.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A solid understanding of international and national maritime regulations.
• Extensive experience in course design, with certification as a Trainer according to the IMO model course 6.09.
