Ørsted says offshore UK windfarms will need urgent repairs.

Danish Wind power firm Ørsted has told investors that they might need to spend up to DKK3bn (£350m) over the next 2 years, on up to 10 of its Offshore windfarms around the UK and Europe. They will need urgent repairs due to their Subsea cables being eroded by rocks, which in a worse case scenario could cause the cables to fail.

The rocks were placed at the base of the wind turbine foundations to prevent erosion of the seabed.
