As a 2nd Engineer, you will play a critical role in the smooth and safe operation of the vessel. This is not just a technical position—it’s a leadership role at the heart of the ship’s operations. You will oversee engine watch duties, ensure the maintenance of all onboard machinery, manage the Planned Maintenance System (PMS), and uphold the highest safety standards. Your expertise will directly contribute to the vessel’s reliability, efficiency, and safety, while your leadership will inspire and guide your engineering team to perform at their best. Requirements:

• Hold a national Second Engineer Certificate of Competency (COC III/2 unlimited) in line with STCW regulations.
• Minimum 1 year’s experience as a watchkeeping Engineer on a cruise ship or as a 2nd Engineer on other vessel types.
• B2 level English (spoken) is essential; additional language skills are a plus.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills with proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Passion for safety, technology, and continuous professional development.
