We are seeking an experienced Corporate Executive Chef to oversee the culinary operations across multiple ships within a prestigious cruise line. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-volume, upscale cruise ship dining, with prior experience in companies such as P&O, Carnival, and similar ocean cruise brands.

This role requires an innovative leader who can maintain the highest culinary standards while ensuring consistency and efficiency across multiple kitchens.

Job Title: Corporate Executive Chef – Cruise Ship

Location: Onboard a Major Cruise Line

Salary: $6,500 per month 

Rotation: 2:1 (Two months on, one month off)

Start Date: April 2025

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the culinary operations across the fleet, ensuring top-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Develop and implement innovative menus that align with company standards and guest expectations.
  • Supervise Executive Chefs onboard, providing guidance, training, and leadership.
  • Monitor food costs, inventory management, and overall kitchen efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and HACCP regulations.
  • Work closely with procurement teams to source quality ingredients while maintaining cost control.
  • Provide ongoing training and development programs for kitchen staff.
  • Collaborate with onboard and corporate teams to enhance the guest dining experience.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Executive Chef on large ocean cruise ships (P&O, Carnival, or similar brands preferred).
  • Prior experience as a Corporate or Executive Chef overseeing multiple kitchens.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop large culinary teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of international cuisines and high-volume food production.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding of budget management and cost control.
  • Experince in taking kitchen hygeine inspections and complying with the health and hygine regulations.
