We are seeking a dedicated Chef de Partie to join our talented onboard culinary team. This vital role is key to maintaining the high standards of food quality and hygiene that our guests expect. The Chef de Partie will oversee the workflow in their assigned area of the Galley, working closely with the Executive Chef to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities include food preparation, adherence to quality and hygiene standards, and efficient inventory management. This position is crucial for executing our culinary vision and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for all guests.

 

Requirements:

  • Qualified culinary training with extensive experience in a high-standard hotel or restaurant Galley, preferably on a cruise vessel.
  • Strong knowledge of modern international cuisine and experience in food-cost calculations and inventory management.
  • Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken, is essential for effective communication.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, including MS Office, Fidelio, and Micros, along with a solid educational background.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team, maintain high standards, and handle pressure effectively.
