Consortio have partnered with a family-owned shipping company who own and operate a fleet of 65 vessels in the dry bulk sector. They operate a few separate markets and specialise in chartering, logistics, ship management and renewable energies. The company are comprised of pragmatic thinkers who drive sustainability and efficiency from ship to shore to solve tough logistical challenges. Furthermore, they are on the lookout for experienced and talented individuals to drive the need for change in the shipping industry and achieve net zero emissions by 2035.
 

The role is for a Crew Manager, and you will be responsible for the planning, preparation, and coordination of worldwide crewing activities. You will maintain close communication with the crew and be able to establish personal connections with the offshore team and be he link to the onshore ship management team. In addition to this you will review and verify all necessary certificates to ensure compliance with flag state and international requirements. Furthermore, you will be expected to manage financial budgets and cost control for your dedicated vessels.
 

To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
 

  • Have 3 years of experience as a Crew or HR Manager or in a similar capacity position.
     
  • Have good organisational and communication skills.
     
  • Be fluent in English – both verbal and written.
