Crewing Assistant

Our client is an internationally recognised Ship Owner with a fantastic reputation with continual global growth, our client is now seeking a Crewing Assistant to join its Hamburg office.
 

As Crewing Assitant, could you will have gained experience with multiple vessel types including bulk carriers, container ships, etc. Daily, you will be responsible for supporting safe manning of the brand’s vessels, ensuring that all requirements are complied with. You will be responsible to support the monitoring the performance of staff and ensuring that communication is maintained in its clearest form between all levels of the business, at all times.
 

Preferable qualifications and requirements: 

 

• Successfully completed commercial apprenticeship (ideally shipping or tourism related)
  
   
• Professional experience as Assistant or in a comparable position
  
   
• Organisational talent
  
   
• Intercultural competence
  
   
• Well-founded user knowledge in MS Office, especially Outlook and Excel
  
   
• Strong communication skills with fluency in English and preferably German
