Our client is an international ship owner that provides a number of services for the maritime industry.  With offices located in different countries they are truly a global force that has a reputation for reliability, quality and efficiency with a fleet of dry vessels in their ownership. 
 

What is required: 

Completed university degree in (business) computer science or a comparable qualification

Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a data specialist in the operation and support of existing BI landscapes in the MSSQL and Azure environment
 

Relevant knowledge of:

-> Azure Synapse

-> SQL on Azure

-> Lakehouse Technology

-> SSIS Integration Runtime

-> Data Modelling – Data Vault 2.0

-> Database Administration (User Mgmt/Performance/Query Optimization)

-> Testing / Deployment

-> Data pipelining & ETL processes

 

  • Quick comprehension and ability to familiarize yourself with business processes and requirements and apply them to the data world
     
  • Knowledge of agile methods and project experience
     
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
