Consortio is thrilled to collaborate with a distinguished cruise line, seeking a proactive Destination Manager to join our ship-based team. Reporting to the Hotel Manager, this role oversees the implementation of revenue-generating destination experiences, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction and profitability.

As the Destination Manager, you will lead the onboard Destination Experience team, coordinating daily operations and training initiatives. Responsibilities include understanding and championing cruise target markets, maintaining positive guest interactions, and driving sales through proactive promotion. Additionally, you'll foster strong relationships with local tour providers, manage tour operations effectively, and handle guest complaints with finesse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor the Destination Experience team, ensuring adherence to job roles and targets.
  • Collaborate with shore-based teams to enhance itinerary products and experience programs.
  • Maintain positive relationships with local tour providers, ensuring seamless tour operations.
  • Ensure accurate setup of destination experiences in onboard systems and timely tour dispatch.
  • Handle destination-related guest complaints promptly and discreetly, ensuring resolution onboard.
