We are seeking a skilled Electronics Officer to join the shipboard Electro-Technical department. This essential role involves performing electronic maintenance and repair tasks under the guidance of the Chief Electro-Technical Officer. The Electronics Officer ensures the reliability and efficiency of critical navigation, communication, and safety systems, contributing to the overall safety and enjoyment of our guests.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in maintaining and repairing navigation equipment such as ECDIS, GPS, AIS, and VDR.
  • Expertise in managing communication hardware including GMDSS, INMARSAT, and internal communication systems.
  • Proficiency in maintaining safety systems like fire detection and public address systems.
  • Ability to conduct regular checks and maintenance of electronic systems and UPS batteries.Strong interpersonal skills, with a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests and crew.
