Our client is dedicated to providing world-class service, and this role is pivotal in ensuring that their German-speaking guests have an unforgettable journey.

 

As a German International Host/Hostess, you will serve as the primary point of contact for German-speaking guests, ensuring they have a seamless and enjoyable cruise experience. You will be responsible for translating all daily cruise materials, hosting hospitality desks, and providing exceptional service during shore excursions. Your role is crucial in promoting onboard services, maximizing guest satisfaction, and addressing any issues that may arise. Additionally, you will support safety initiatives by communicating important information through ship announcements and assisting with any medical emergencies that may occur.

 

Requirements:

  • Secondary education in Tourism or Humanities.
  • At least 6 months of experience in tourism-related roles such as reception, tour guiding, or guest services.
  • Proficiency in both English and German, with a minimum C1 level in both languages.Comfortable with public speaking and effective communication.
  • Enthusiastic, empathetic, and adept at problem-solving, with a strong orientation toward guest satisfaction.
  • Sales skills are a plus.
