As the head of the medical department, you will ensure the highest standards of medical care, oversee medical facilities, and manage a team of medical professionals. Your expertise will be critical in handling medical emergencies, chronic disease management, and public health initiatives, contributing to the overall safety and satisfaction of all on board.

Role Requirements:

• Extensive experience in acute emergency and chronic disease management.
• Proficiency in medical record systems such as SeaCare, MMS, Fidelio, and IBS.
• Strong leadership skills to oversee the medical team and ensure task completion.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with shore side teams and port health authorities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to GMC Good Medical Practice standards.
