Consortio are currently working with a leading organization seeking an experienced Marine ‘Team Leader’ to oversee and manage operations. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, leadership, and operational management to ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and the successful achievement of quality and technical objectives.

As Marine ‘Team Leader’, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, coordinating survey assignments, and ensuring efficient workflow. You will define and implement strategies to meet quality and technical targets while monitoring performance and driving continuous improvements.

Leading a team of Surveyors and Principal Surveyors, you will provide guidance and support, conduct performance reviews, and foster a collaborative working environment. You will also ensure compliance with all applicable international and local maritime regulations, keeping up to date with relevant standards and procedures.

To be eligible for this role you must:

  • 10+ years of experience in the maritime industry
  • 3-4 years in a senior leadership role managing technical teams
  • Strong understanding of international maritime regulations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Naval Engineering
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Fluency in English
