Overview
Oversee all shipyard production activities in Spain, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Reporting to senior management, you will lead multi-disciplinary teams, coordinate resources, and drive operational efficiency across newbuild, repair, and conversion projects.

Key Duties

  • Plan, schedule, and manage all production activities to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Allocate manpower, equipment, and materials efficiently across multiple projects.
  • Monitor progress, resolve delays, and implement corrective actions when required.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, and project management teams.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to scope and schedule.
  • Lead daily production meetings; provide clear direction to supervisors and workforce.
  • Track KPIs including productivity, quality, safety performance, and budget adherence.

Requirements

  • Significant production management experience in shipbuilding, ship repair, or heavy marine engineering.
  • Strong understanding of steelwork, piping, mechanical, electrical, and outfitting operations.
  • Proven ability to manage large, multi-skilled teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on leadership approach.
  • Fluent in Spanish and professional-level English.
  • Proficient in production planning tools and reporting systems.
  • Willingness to work on-site and adapt to changing operational priorities.
