Consortio have partnered with an industry leading shipping company that specializes in the Container and Tanker Segments. They have a diverse fleet of 50+ vessels that operate across the seven oceans. Due to recent expansion, they are currently looking to bring in a QHSE Manager to help manage their fleet of Containers and Tankers. You will be responsible for treating safety first and will help develop and monitor the QHSE performance of the fleet. As well as this you will advise on all QHSE matters and be responsible for the training and implementation of new policies between multiple departments. Furthermore, you will need to process Flag State and Class requirements and create a continuous need for QHSE performance. Finally, you will be required to become a certified ISM and MLC auditor and conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of QHSE systems.
To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
- Have a BSC in Transport & Logistics.
- Have 3 + years sailing experience on Containers or Tankers at a senior level.
- Have 2 + years onshore QHSE experience.
- Be Fluent in English – both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in German will be seen as an advantage.
- Have the right to work in the EU.
