Consortio is working with an established ship broking house. They have brokers on the ground in numerous global offices. Most of their services provided are in the dry cargo sector. The company was founded on the key principles of treating everyone they encounter with high respect and unequivocal loyalty. You can expect to witness these same values today.

This role is for an experienced DRY shipbroker. You will use your existing ship owner and chartering relationships to secure business for our client. Shrewd negotiation skills will be required as you act as an intermediary to fix strategic fixtures. The emphasis will be on developing strong and lengthy business relationships rather than short term deals. There are also some current accounts you may be required to manage seeking to build greater rapport and profitability.

To be considered for this role you will need to meet the following criteria;

  •  2+ years in competitive broking.
  •  Strong Dry bulk & Cargo segment experience.
  •  Preferably will have an existing portfolio of clients.
  •  Must have EU residency/working rights.
  •  Fluent in English & Greek

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to join an established broking house and embark on a career in the maritime sector. You will receive a market competitive salary.
