Our client are a Hamburg based Ship Operator and Owner company that is steeped in rich heritage and tradition. In recent time, they have placed a major emphasis on finding innovative and efficient shipping solutions.
 

The role is for a Tanker Operator to join their office in Hamburg to work collaboratively within their current team of 17 staff. You will be operating under time and voyage charters in European waters. In addition to this you will be expected to coordinate the day-to-day operational activities, liaising with the Marine Superintendent and any external agents to ensure efficient commercial operation. Furthermore, you will be expected to liaise with charterers and management with respect to vetting inspections and port visits.
 

In order to be considered role you must meet the following requirements:
 

  • 2+ years’ experience with Tankers as a vessel / ship operator.
     
  • Experience in other operational shipping environments will be seen as an advantage.
     
  • Have great communication skills.
     
  • Be fluent in English.
     
  • Be fluent in German.
